{"id":137173,"date":"2016-09-07T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2016-09-07T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.secretenergy.com\/?p=137173"},"modified":"2019-10-05T11:20:52","modified_gmt":"2019-10-05T11:20:52","slug":"four-fasting-tips-for-beginners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/secretenergy.com\/four-fasting-tips-for-beginners\/","title":{"rendered":"Four Fasting Tips For Beginners"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"article-media\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"article-content\" style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">There are a few things that we need to survive.\u00a0 Here they are in order of importance:<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Food \u2013 Water \u2013 Good Clean Air<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Although food is listed as one of the things we need to survive we often overlook the type of food or how much we\u2019re eating.\u00a0 We either take in too much, too little or what we\u2019re eating doesn\u2019t have the minerals and nutrients that the body really needs to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.secretenergy.com\/store\/\">generate real energy<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0 Fasting is one of the most powerful ways to cleanse and revitalize the body, but it is also one of the most challenging to complete.\u00a0 Here are some fasting tips that can help make fasting easier for you:<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\">1. Timing!<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">It is ideal, but not mandatory, to start any long fast on or at the beginning of the new moon phase<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt; font-family: 'Open Sans';\"><strong>Why on the new moon?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">The parasites within the system are least active during that time, so you\u2019ll have fewer cravings for foods like processed sugar, fast food etc.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">How we define long varies by each individual, some might think five days is long, while others may think a day is long.\u00a0 It is suggested that you fast at least once a week, but if that is challenging than once every two weeks or once a month.\u00a0 It\u2019s important to give the body at least one day so that it can reset the glycogen levels and finish breaking down food from previous days.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">When you\u2019re just getting started with fasting and have never deliberately gone a full day without eating food, then you want to start off slow.\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">Start by not eating until 12 pm one day, then the next time you fast go until 3 pm, and once you\u2019re able to successfully do that give a full day a try!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Try to do a fast at a time where you don\u2019t have a lot of physically demanding things coming up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\"><strong>Fasting is a time of regeneration.\u00a0 <\/strong>Your body is essentially focusing all of its energy on digestion and removing the toxins within.\u00a0 The less physical and emotional stress you put on the body, the better your fast.\u00a0 You want to take baby steps to build your ability.\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">With some patience and practice, you\u2019ll be going full on Breatharian in no time!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\">2. Eat!<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Fuel your other channels with premium foods.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Your other channels are your eyes, ears, and nose.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">For your eyes, watch positive and encouraging TV or videos.\u00a0 For your ears, listen to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.secretenergy.com\/store\/product-category\/frequency\/\">healing frequencies<\/a><\/strong> and uplifting music.\u00a0 For your nose, fill your space with healing aromatherapy, or if you can go outside around some trees and just breathe in deeply.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">You may not be eating \u201cfood\u201d in the classic sense of the word but you are still in-taking things through your various channels, so make sure they are quality things that are supporting you in your task.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\">3. Drink!<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Whenever you feel a hunger pain remember to drink fluids.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Aside from water, drink teas, vitamin enriched drinks, and natural juices.\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"background-color: transparent;\">For example, organic pressed apple juice is excellent for increasing bowel movements.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"background-color: transparent; font-family: 'Open Sans';\">By drinking plenty of water you may feel less physically hungry because most hunger pains that we feel are actually our body telling us we are dehydrated.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"background-color: transparent; font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Many other people struggle with what can be called \u201cboredom cravings\u201d where you may not be hungry but you want to taste and chew on something.\u00a0 These \u201cboredom cravings\u201d are a lot easier to deal with than hunger pains.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\">4. Be Merry!<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; line-height: 1;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Take it easy, stay positive, and be compassionate to yourself.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;
