For years, we watched the power-brokers of global governments tighten regulation in the name of \u201cfreedom\u201d, tighten the censorship of opinions that contradict their agenda, and feed the public \u201cnews\u201d\u009d that seems invented solely to manipulate, control and instill fear. Finally, like many of you, we felt overwhelmed, angry and in disbelief, and decided to stop watching and do something positive in reply. That was the day that Wake Up World was born. Starting as a simple blog, our initial focus was to document some of the inconsistencies in the official stories of the world\u2019s governments, seemingly spun in the name of maintaining control and supporting a progressively corporate-focused agenda.
