Low cortisol production from the adrenals can lead to Addison’s disease. A loss of aldosterone can cause low blood pressure, dehydration, or even shock. Another sign may be excessive skin pigmentation, and hypoglycemia. Causes of Addison’s can come from autoimmune disease, cancer or other chronic wasting diseases.
Modern medicine treats Addison’s with steroid treatments that may have to be taken for the rest of your life.
It may have come from long-term stress or some severe chronic wasting disease such as cancer. It has been documented in homeopathy to be reversible supported by cell salts, and herbal therapies.
What else you can do: eliminate tobacco, alcohol, coffee, black tea and soda. Reducing stress is a must, as well as using Stress Multi-Vitamins from New chapter for optimal nutrition, and Amla-C or New Chapter’s C-Food Complex.
