Spasmodic torticollis is also referred to as wryneck or Wry Neck. Symptoms include painful muscle spasms in the neck and inflammation. With severe symptoms, the neck stays to the right or left in a state of paralysis.
From the natural perspective wryneck is a muscular problem, possibly stemming from an injury affecting the nerves. Anti-spasmodics and nervines may help relieve symptoms, release muscular tension and relaxes the nerves.
Support a healthy lifestyle by removing tobacco, alcohol, coffee, black tea, and soda from your diet.
Ask your doctor about these natural supplements to support your body’s ability to better handle the symptoms.
Magnesium malate, increasing each day, until the stools loosen up. Magnesium allows the muscles to relax, avoiding spasm.
